Having served as the President and CEO of Find the Win, LLC Consulting, Mr. Mellon established an impressive track record, and he championed strategies that bolstered multiple DoD defense programs. Under his stewardship, the company saw an impressive revenue influx within its inaugural year.
His notable contributions also extend to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. As the Principal Deputy and later the Acting Assistant Secretary, Mr. Mellon introduced transformative strategies and initiatives, like the multibillion-dollar modernization plan, which successfully aimed to reduce facility footprints significantly by 2022.
At the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office, his leadership as the Executive Director was instrumental in acquiring and delivering the Department’s flagship F-35 aircraft. He adeptly managed budgets, negotiated contracts, and streamlined processes, resulting in substantial cost savings and efficiency gains.
